Cherry Blossom Shrine

Cherry Blossom Shrine dresses a garden shrine for blossom season. Pale warm granite brick sits in fine light mortar, a second course runs with sage moss in the seams, and rounded river cobblestone weathers into heavy moss. A vermilion lacquered timber beam with darker red grain anchors the palette against cream sand-speckled plaster and a polished dark slate step. Honey cedar and dark walnut boards pair with cherry bark and a pale ring-marked cherry log top, and the interior finishes with a rack of rolled paper scrolls, a cream rice-paper panel divided by a thin dark lattice, charcoal clay roof tiles and sage garden moss scattered with fallen pink petals. This is surface artwork only: no block glows, no light level changes and nothing behaves differently.
